Laurence E Berry 12th International Mammalogical Congress

Laurence E Berry

As a Wildlife Ecologist with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, I am currently working to deliver two large-scale reintroduction programs at Mallee Cliffs NP and Pilliga NP as part of a ground-breaking public/ private land management partnership. I have a professional and academic background in spatial ecology, long-term ecological monitoring and fire management. My research to date has largely focused on how the spatial outcomes of large-scale ecological disturbances influence the distribution, persistence and recovery of species at different scales. My work has also examined the interface between science and land management and the process of how research findings translate into successful practice and policy. I am a member of the Ecological Society of Australia, the Australian Mammal Society and the International Association of Wildland Fire.
