I am currently a PhD candidate a Massey University, New Zealand, studying a population of feral cats on an island in the Hauraki Gulf, NZ. I have been using radio telemetry and camera traps to study their reproduction, diet, home range, and activity. The island I work on also has a population of the endangered North Island brown kiwi so I have a special interest in the interactions between these birds and feral cats. I have also worked with the lesser studied mustelid (the weasel) looking at their impacts on native fauna. My interests lie in both invasive predators and predator ecology.
