I am a wildlife biologist with special interests in carnivore biology and human-carnivore conflict. I will, however, be presenting on something completely different at IMC 2017 (the acoustic identification of South African bats). The work is a bit of a pet project which started off small but it has now grown into a rather cool (well, I think so!) regional project that includes a number of collaborators.
